Apr.19 (Thu.) Euro Tunnel – Paris (190 mi)

Early Morning all Participants gather at a location near Folkstone

(Hotel at Euro Tunnel is an OPTION for the previous night)

Attend Briefing about the Trip and get Detailed Notes etc.

Morning Crossing by Euro Tunnel from Folkstone (England).

Arrival at Calais (France) and Drive onwards to Massy via Central Paris passing via Monet’s Garden, Chataeu Gaillard and the Paris Air and Space Museum(The choice of stop-off visits is entirely up to you and what you prefer to do, we will provide maps and directions to all three)

Transfer to Hotel in Massy area which is South East of Paris (13km) and with access to RER station for people wanting to go into Centre for shopping and the evening

EVE                 Free for Dinner on your own.

Accommodation at the hotel in Paris (Massy).

Apr.20 (Fri.) Paris – Vichy (240 mi)

Breakfast at a restaurant in the hotel

10:00 a.m.       Drive to Vichy which is situated in the Auvergne region of France

13:00 p.m.        Enroute Lunch and Wine tasting at Celliers de la Pauline, Thauvenay.

16:00 p.m.       Arrival at Vichy and transfer to our Chateau

Free at Leisure to explore areas around Vichy on your own or time for the Spa for the people wanting to relax and unwind…

(For people not doing the Track-day, we also have a Golf course near our place)

EVE                 Free for Dinner on your own.

Accommodation at the Chateau near Vichy.

Apr.21 (Sat.) Vichy

Breakfast at a restaurant in the chateau

08:00 a.m.       Trackday at Michelin Test Facility for the GT-R Drivers.

16:00 p.m.       You will drive back after the full day on the Track.

19:30 p.m.       Barbeque Dinner with Bonfire for all the Tour participants.

Accommodation at the Chateau near Vichy.

Apr.22 (Sun.) Vichy – Aix-en-Provence (285 mi)

Breakfast at a restaurant in the chateau.

09:00 a.m.       Morning Drive to Aix en Provence via Mont Ventoux and Millau Viaduct

12:00 a.m.       Arrive Millau Viaduct for photo opportunity.

Enroute Lunch at leisure on your own in the local area and more photo opportunities

17:00 p.m.       Arrive at your hotel in Provence.

EVE                 Free for Dinner on your own.

Accommodation at the hotel in Aix-en-Provence.

Apr.23(Mon.) Aix-en-Provence – Monte Carlo (125 mi)

Breakfast at a restaurant in the hotel.

08:00 a.m.       Drive to and through Verdon Gorge and Cannes then crossing from France into Monaco.

11:00 a.m.       Arrival at Monte Carlo, we Drive onward to our Hotel via the Centre.

Transfer to Hotel and free to enjoy rest of the day in the city Casino, Shopping etc.

EVE                 Free for Dinner on your own.

Accommodation at the hotel in Monte Carlo.

Apr.24 (Tue.) Monte Carlo – Maranello (280 mi)

Breakfast at a restaurant in the hotel

08:00 a.m.       Drive to Maranello via Camogli and La Spezia on the southern coast road

13:00 p.m.       Arrival at Ferrari Museum in Maranello, lunch at leisure in their facility

Transfer to Hotel and free to enjoy rest of the day in the village or ride to one of the Outlet shopping area / Bologna.

EVE                 Free for Dinner on your own.

Accommodation at the hotel in Maranello.

Apr.25 (Wed.) Maranello – Lake Constance (350 mi)

Breakfast at a restaurant in the hotel

08:00 a.m.       North through Verona and onto the Stelvio Pass

12:00 a.m.       Arrive at Stelvio Pass for lunch before driving through the mountain pass

17:00 p.m.       Arrive at hotel by Lake Constance

EVE                 Free for Dinner on your own.

Accommodation at the hotel by Lake Constance.

Apr.26 (Thu.) Lake Constance – Folkstone / Nuerburg

Breakfast at a restaurant in the hotel.

10:00 a.m.       Morning Drive to Stuttgart.

11:30 a.m.       Arrive at the Porsche Museum, lunch at leisure in their facility

 

TOUR 1           Drive back from Stuttgart to Calais and cross using the Euro tunnel

 

TOUR 2           Drive from Stuttgart to Nuerburg for some time to relax

EVE                 Free for Dinner on your own.

 Accommodation at the hotel in Nuerburg.

Apr.27 (Fri.) Nuerburg (TOUR 2)

Breakfast at a restaurant in the hotel

Full day Free for time on the Ring

EVE                 Free for Dinner on your own. (Recommend Pistenklaus Restaurant at Hotel am Tiergarten)

Apr.28 (Sat.) Nuerburg – Folkstone (TOUR 2)

08:00 a.m.       Visit to the Ring to witness the VLN Round 3 race event

    No doubt once the ‘Hardcore etc’ have done a full reconnaissance we will have comprehensive details.

    On the Michelin day is the track session for GTR35s only?

    we are meeting the tomorrow evening to discuss al the details and should know a lot more about the whole event at Michelin

    Day 1 of fact-finding mission over. We left home at 6am, had multiple stop-off points to check and finally settled down for dinner with Bony Automobiles at our hotel at 10pm! What a day!!!

    No. For those taking part in the Tour all cars are equal and will have access to all the same facilities whether in a GTR, Skyline or 350/370Z

    Day 2 of research trip and we’ve had to drive through snow across mountain passes – making way for the snow plough coming the other way as we did – and checking out some amazing hotels! Pictures will be added when i get back

    Currently at Maranello and then heading north into Germany. Lots done on the route and plenty of meetings with stop-off events/lunches and hotels. Its been a very long three days already!
