TOTB Team Captain 2012 Jeff Ludgate has been tearing up the strip for some time now.  As well as bringing his straight line experience to the team he also brings his exceptional team leadership and organising skills to Team GTROC.

In 2009 Jeff won the TOTB quickest private entry trophy

Outside of TOTB Jeff also competed in the HKS Drag Series winning the Rotorstock event and coming fourth overall in the series for 2009.

Mechanical damage kept Jeff out of racing most of 2010

In 2011 Jeff came back to racing with a ‘spare’ car built for him by Abbey Motorsport but suffered with terrible problems from his OSG sequential gear box.  Even so he drove in the Jap Drag Series coming sixth overall for the season

Jeff also entered TOTB in 2011.  After a warm up run Jeff set out on his first quick run of the day managing 9.79 seconds and 148mph.  With the intention of improving his time Jeff set off for his second run and blew his gearbox whilst changing into third gear, so an early bath for him!!  He still managed to come sixth in the 4wd class just doing one competitive run.

2012 has been a different story with the car now having a Hollinger six speed sequential box fitted.  Jeff has once again driven in the Jap Drag Series coming third at the first round, second at the second round and first at the Jap Show (third round).  The Abbey Motorsport car has been improved carefully over the past year and is now the quickest full weight R33 GTR in the world with Jeff’s best run being 9.18 seconds and 154.72 mph.
