    For those GTROC Members who wish to make a weekend of the 2019 Annual General Meeting, then we have reserved some double rooms in a lovely four star hotel near Coventry & just 38 minutes from the actual AGM location of the British Motor Museum at Gaydon.

    We suggest that if you wish to join us for Saturday evening & the dinner that you make it known as soon as possible as we can only hold the rooms / current pricing of £94.35 with breakfast – the Awards Dinner price is still be negotiated!

    The Macdonald Ansty Hall is a grade II listed Georgian mansion dating back to 1678 & set in eight acres of grounds in the rolling Warwickshire countryside. The hotel has 62 bedrooms, a restaurant, meetings and conference rooms for up to 140 delegates. It also caters for corporate activities, weddings, family events, banquets & festive events.

    The 2019 GTROC AWARD DINNER Menu Choices – £31.00 per person :


    • Warm Goats Cheese & onion tart, beetroot chutney.
    • Smoked haddock & potato fishcake, lemon & herb mayonnaise.
    • Ham hock & leek terrine, piccalilli

    MAINS – all served with appropriate market vegetables & potatoes :

    • Braised shin of Scottish beef, red wine jus.
    • Fillet of Scottish salmon, crushed potatoes, chive cream sauce.
    • Roast loin of outdoor reared pork, apple sauce.

    DESERT :

    • Apple & cinnamon crumble with custard.
    • Coffee & walnut cheesecake
    • Dark chocolate tart, pistachio clotted cream

    Just to add an update, these are the winners of the Annual Awards Dinner that were given out during the evening :

    • Chairman’s Trophy – Kriss Merchant – for years of service to the Club.
    • Event Team Trophy – Coventry Motofest Crew – well done all!
    • Event Champion – David – GOGHAT – Sawyer – well deserved.
    • Extra Mile Award – Danny Finch – well done.
    • Mark Apsley Trophy – Neil Westley – well deserved.
    • Photographer of the Year – Ed Keating – congratulations.
    • Straightline Champion – Severn Valley Motorsport.
    • Socialite of the Year – Duane Quincey.

    Congratulations to all, appreciate some people couldn’t be there to accept their awards but you should all be receiving them soon.
