It may rain in Ireland and you’ll pull out at the last moment.
On the other hand you could give your new baby some underbody protection – see this image from last Thursday.

So you are the reason that my 240z is not progressing ;)

Sorry Matt, didnt realise that the Jaeger was the last thing you remembered :) My only issue was I couldnt get to sleep, was wired from all the Monster energy drink :) Got to sleep at 0700 and then decided to skip breakfast as it wasnt very good. Saw Adam walking (should I say stumbling around at about 1000 :D). We left at about 1100 to head over…[Read more]

Ummm, Ross, I think you may be mistaken…. we were most definitely the loudest and if you consider the amount of Jaeger we drank, we would have gotten the award for most empty bottles. 5 bottles of Jaeger done and dusted, they had none left :D Mel, Jane and Steve helped on the wine side of things as well. And thats with Daz and Paul at the table…[Read more]

sorry I couldnt make this either, but my GTR is still at Sly and I didnt want to put all the big fat R35s to shame with a little old MX5 on the B road twisty bits :)

The promo code was already negotiated before the event went into the shop :)
Ross had to guarantee that Jack and Maureen would be there so as to offset the costs by the bar bill.
And obviously “no steve”

It’s a slippery slope……
One would need a serious build to keep up with those bikes
Thats the big issue Im having…. Adding up for stage 5 turbos (no engine/gearbox build) and its rather expensive :( think I need a sponsor ;)
Still interested in the front diff though :)

I was browsing Litchfields website earlier today…. Stage 5 is looking appealing right now. Oh yes and the front diff :D

I’d be more than happy to contribute towards the sweeping (just not the entire £5k ;))
Regarding a letter, it is likely to be more strongly received if all of the car clubs involved unite to send a single letter, rather than just the GTROC alone.
To add, I just called up a road sweeper hire firm and they charge £450 per vehicle per day and £…

And so my friend you are satisfied with the status quo?
Personally speaking, I think there is scope for improvement.
Most definitely room for improvement and ASDA needs incentive to change!
Absolutely tragic news for so many people.
We are at Wings and Wheels next weekend with the Vulcan in the air. Food for thought.
Completely agree with…[Read more]

If it was swept for 8 hours, they should have done 16.
;) not sure 4 hours would help that much more…. this actually raises some concerns about the Nissan Experience event next year, if they move to Bruntingthorpe.

I have 4 chunks out of my cf spliter! A wrap would help but it wouldn’t stop big chips. My point is I and many others picked up many more this year than in previous years.
Have to agree… I have no issues with killing off tyres and brakes (both of which are being replaced now), but the amount of stone chips I picked up is just silly. The first…[Read more]

Completely agree, I would prefer to do the event as well :) but from a money aspect it would be better to just donate ;)
I’m tempted to plasti dip the car on a yearly basis to avoid the stone chips
